Amaia, from these volcanoes, I celebrate your life, your art, and your laughter.
That small group of ten of us had no idea how big those days together would become. Some moments last for years, but I never imagined those few days would stay with me forever.
Thanks to Dani (who connected Gaby with Txemy for the Nazaret mural) for the first step to it all taking shape. Thanks to Txemy for his spirit, vision, and immense kindness. Thanks to Gaby for building her own vision of the island and inviting us all to live it with her, with calm and care at Espacio Fenómena.
No matter how much people insist that success should be fast and easy, reaching any place worth going to is a slow process, one that’s more about the journey than the arrival. And that journey is ours to make, to tell, and to live with honesty. Because in the end, the only thing that really matters is good people.
People are the real luck. And my luck was infinite.
I met a person who was a true inspiration to me. Full of color, stories, motherhood, and an incredible energy that touched everyone she met. Sharing her world for those days was extraordinary, watching her pour her soul into every moment.
It was all about feeling. We learned to look inward, to tell our stories, and to draw them. We learned from each other. We learned so much from her, without even realizing it. Amaia. We grew a little deeper, thanks to you.
I never imagined 2025 would be the year I’d meet you in person. Thank you, Amaia. You are and will always be a reference.
And thanks to Txemy, Ane, Gaby, Marco, Itziar, Mónica, Rosy, Bea, Bárbara, Sara, and Anna.
People are the real luck.
Keep creating.
