Introduction

At The Sun Collective, we aim to provide clarity and ease in our booking process. This policy outlines our approach to payments, cancellations, and refunds for our art retreats.

Reserving Your Spot

  • To secure your place in the retreat, a 100 € payment is required. Once your spot is reserved, we will reach out via email with additional details about the retreat. We recommend holding off on your flight booking until the retreat is guaranteed, as this is subject to a minimum participant requirement.

  • Once the retreat is guaranteed, we will notify you by email and recommend that you proceed with your flight bookings.

  • Retreat payment. The remaining balance for the retreat is due 45 days before the start date. We will send you a reminder a few days prior to this deadline for the remaining payment.

42% Birthday Offer 

To celebrate 42 springs around the sun, we've released a limited number of discounted spots across our retreats and Art Day Experiences.

  • The offer is valid until 07/06/26, or until all discounted spots are booked, whichever comes first.
  • Discounted bookings require full payment at the time of purchase and cannot be reserved with our standard €100 deposit. These discounted places are non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
  • If a discounted spot is no longer available, retreats can still be booked under our standard conditions with a €100 deposit.
  • As always, flights and travel arrangements are not included.

Cancellation by The Sun Collective

  • If the retreat does not meet the minimum participant requirement, we will provide a full refund of your reservation fee. 

  • In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund and assist you in finding alternative holiday options.

Cancellation by Participants

  • Once your complete payment is processed, please note the following cancellation terms:
    • Up to 45 days before the retreat: You will receive a full refund of your reservation fee.
    • From 44 to 30 days before the retreat: You will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
    • From 29 days to 1 day before the retreat: No refund will be issued.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel, medical, and cancellation insurance to cover potential cancellations, changes in travel plans, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions.

Please ensure your insurance covers trip cancellation and interruption. Be sure to review your policy for coverage details and the claims process.

Insurance

  • Participants are responsible for securing their own travel, medical, and cancellation insurance. The Sun Collective does not partner with any insurance providers.

  • Having suitable insurance is crucial to protect against unforeseen events affecting your travel plans.
