Art Experience: Volcanoes landscapes with artist Lucía Entrialgo

Discover Lanzarote’s stunning volcanoes landscapes in an incredible morning in the centre of the island to unleash your creativity in some of the island’s most beautiful viewpoints. This experience blends art and exploration, taking you to the perfect spots for painting and sketching while introducing you to the local culture and lifestyle.

This experience offers you a chance to capture the essence of Lanzarote on paper. You’ll use watercolors and some mixed media while learning techniques, having fun, and enjoying the beauty around you. All materials are provided, just bring your creativity!

Beyond painting alongside Lucía Entrialgo all morning, you'll also have time to observe the lights, colours and rhythm of quit volcanoes and loudy wind.

Timanfaya mood

Lanzarote starts to unfold on our way to Timanfaya, these magnificent earth colours are beyond anything else. Then we´ll start our day with a breathtaking view of the volcanoes, getting in touch with shapes trough sketch.

Dive In

Volcanoes landscapes

Outdoor painting: spend 2 hours in a secluded spot, painting the browns, reddish and blacks with Lucía guidance and all the materials you need to capture volcanoes landscape on paper.

Loosen Up

Pics and lanscape

After painting, we’ll explore how to capture this inspiration to continue at home. We´ll learn how to make unique colour palettes and take reference photos.

Lucía Entrialgo

Lucía Entrialgo is an Spanish artist who has built her career by bringing the creative industries into every company and client she has come into contact with. The intersectionality between art, design, and craftsmanship with other industries is essential to her -like living surrounded by color and beauty.

She enjoys painting with watercolor and ink, creating pieces with strong concepts and expressive character. Her paintings, words and products has been sold in Mexico and Spain.

At the end of 2023, driven by her passion for art and design, she founded The Sun Collective from her home in Lanzarote.

What can I expect to learn?

What should I pack?

The weather in Lanzarote is sunny and warm. You can expect average highs of 24°C during the day that drop to around 17°C at night. Lanzarote enjoys very mild winters and warm summers, and very little rain throughout the year.

It is a windy island so bring a coat with you to protect from it.

Please pack appropriate clothing, sunscreen, a sun hat and sunglasses and a sketchbook.

Is transportation included?

Private transport is included if you select "premium" option.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Once your complete payment is processed, if you need to cancel:

  • If you cancel up to 45 days before the retreat, you will receive a full refund of your reservation fee.
  • If you cancel between 44 and 30 days before the retreat, you will receive 50% of the total amount you paid.
  • Unfortunately, if you cancel within 29 days of the retreat, we cannot offer a refund.

To protect yourself against any potential need for cancellation or changes in travel plans, including no-shows, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions, we highly recommend to purchase travel, medical, and cancellation insurance.

Please ensure your insurance covers trip cancellation and interruption. We advise carefully reviewing your insurance policy to understand the coverage details and claims process. Remember, securing suitable insurance is your responsibility, as The Sun Collective does not partner with any insurance providers.

If I want to extend my trip to Lanzarote, where can I stay?

We sincerely recommend looking for a room at Pitaya Coliving in Arrecife, a place with unique energy co-livers. If you prefer something on your own, we suggest searching for apartments in Costa Teguise, a well-located town close to the sea.
