Our recent retreat with Nurdebof was an unforgettable artistic journey through the sun-drenched landscapes of Lanzarote. Participants immersed themselves in the serene world of abstract art, exploring mixed media techniques that brought their creativity to life. This retreat was the perfect opportunity to unlock their artistic potential through daily classes and mentorship with Nuria.

Over the course of 3 days and 2 nights, we experienced the island's diverse natural beauty, from the rugged north and white sand beaches to the volcanic black and red landscapes of the west. Each day, the island's vibrant palette was translated into bursts of imagination on canvas, creating a dynamic and inspiring environment.

Daily art practices were complemented by explorations of Lanzarote's stunning scenery. Our guests enjoyed 2 nights of comfortable accommodation, with a private chef catering to their culinary needs. This ensured a fully immersive and worry-free experience, allowing everyone to focus on their artistic endeavors and the beauty of the surroundings.

The retreat was a perfect blend of art and nature, leaving all participants with memories and inspiration that will last for months to come.

Nurdebof

Nurdebof is a Spanish abstract artist born from the premise of experimenting with her own creativity, resulting from deep introspection. She began to explore what today is her natural environment: abstract art, where she becomes merely an instrument of the present.

Moved and excited by the landscape, she has managed to create works that have been exhibited in several group exhibitions. However, it has been her two trips to Lanzarote that have marked a before and after in her artistic practice, culminating in her first solo exhibition.

In the artist's words: "The collection is a visual statement of the island's majesty. It is a visual journey through the force of nature and convey its beauty. These canvases are my way of sharing the extraordinary symphony of colors and shapes that Lanzarote offers."

For Nuria, sharing comes naturally, she has been conducting workshops with the same passion and care she puts into each canvas. Now, she returns to Lanzarote to lead her first retreat at The Sun Collective, the "Abstract Art Retreat."
